Who we are and what we offer

Who we are - Julie & Kate
Educator Julie Dimitriades-Catt has worked as a psychologist and psychotherapist for over two decades supporting couples and young people as they navigate family and relationship dynamics. She's currently working on her second book, Complicated, a handbook based on her professional expertise and personal experiences, for anyone living in a transitioning family.
Producer and organisational executive Kate Hollobon draws on her own two decades of executive planning experience and skills to run the back-office and scaffolding for Untangled Seminars. As an ex-head hunter and EA and mother of 2 she certainly wears many hats. She is also a blended family expert after having 2 step children in the past and currently with a partner who is a step dad to her children !
Between them they've contributed to the upbringing of 10 kids, and know what resources they wish had been available when they were doing it for the first time.

What's On Now - Complicated Families
Whether you’re dealing with separation, divorce, re-partnering, or blending families, our six-week interactive, community-based program offers you common-sense strategies and support to help your family stabilise during transformations.
Does your complicated family feel chaotic? Are you hoping your kids cope with situations you’re struggling with yourself? Are you a step-parent who doesn’t have a clue about kids? If your goal is to build bridges and create a stable, harmonious family environment, it’s time to try our innovative approach and bring clarity to chaos.
We’ll share evidence-based techniques developed over twenty years of working with transitioning families – and managing our own. You’ll benefit from the professional insights and experienced personalised guidance, with a focus on creating stability, growth and connection through times of change.
Three fortnightly meetings over six weeks, Aug. 20, Sept. 3, Sept. 17, 7pm – 9pm
Seminars and Workshops
Engaging seminars provide practical strategies for untangling tricky situations and uncomplicating complex relationships. Facilitated by trained educators and therapists, we've designed our programs using cutting edge research and good common sense, so that you take away techniques and tools that work for you, in your unique circumstances. We keep our numbers very limited to ensure a personalised and interactive approach complemented by workbooks, resource guides, and the opportunity to access individualised ongoing support.

Individual Support
We offer ongoing individual support to complement or follow up from our seminars, accessing a substantial network of psychologists and therapists who specialise in relationship development and family dynamics.
